  At 1 am they close the counter and shut down the service until 7am. Our flight was late so we had to spend 2 taxis, to and from our hotel, to collect the car. Contact phones where not answering, even the day after.

  Shuttle bus was hard to find - no signs - and took a long time to arrive. Once at the rental office, waiting time was short, staff were friendly and everything was as expected, €91 deposit blocked on card. Dropped car off as per agreement, quick check and everything was fine. Deposit released within 24h

  Shuttle bus hard to find and a bit of a wait. 5 minute ride to off site pick up. Then a very long wait with a huge queue of people waiting for 2 staff serving!!! This not a isolated incident, massive queue when we dropped car off also. The staff were very nice and the car was fine. Won't be using Avis/Budget at Tenerife South again unless they move/put enough staff on. Typing this whilst waiting for shuttle bus of which there is no sign after 15 mins standing because all seating is taken! Grrr.

  Price and car were perfect. Stuff very friendly. Not tried to sell useless additions. Only short distance from the airport TFS, by shuttle less than 5 minutes. Unfortunatly I cannot give 5 stars because the shuttle at the airport is very hard to find (striktly speaking we didn't find it at all.. but THEY found us after 40 minutes ;) ) The parking position that is mentioned in older ratings is not correct any more. Unfortunatly I still cannot say the right parking position for shuttle departure. Anyway it was a good choice, although I was a little worried after many bad experiences on google.

  Everything was perfect, no problem with shuttle (Airport exit n. 6 and the beginning of parking places in steep slope), friendly staff, very, very nice and new cars, no extra costs. I have a lot of experience of car rental companies in Tenerife and Avis is one of the best.

  Once in the airport again, we found out they are not based in the airport. The shutle bus has a small capacity and we had to wait for 2 trips to get to Avis base. So we lost 1 day behind them. Never again.
